About Diane
Diane has recorded projects for medical narrations, gaming projects, commercials, e-Learning, on hold messages, corporate projects, audio books, GPS navigation and more.
Video game and animation projects include KezzaBee Farm Animals iPhone app; the Tweet Defense promo trailer for the new iPhone game released in March 2010; the character of ‘Halgrim’ for Puzzle Chronicles (PS3 and other platforms) released February 2010; and the mission control character of ‘Mother’ for XBox60 video game Darkest of Days released in the USA in September 2009 with global release to follow. Diane was interviewed for ‘Game Informer’ (July 2010) and ‘Hyper’ (September 2009) gaming magazines on voicing gaming characters.
Audio book titles recorded include The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection; Pulp Fiction – The Dames; and The Canon – A Whirligig Tour of the Beautiful Basics of Science for Vision Australia.
Diane is qualified in radio production and presentation, and trained in presenting to camera. She completed courses in Acting Techniques and Voice Intensive at the National Institute for Dramatic Art (NIDA). She has a Certificate III in Radio Broadcasting.
Diane has worked as Production Assistant and/or co-ordinator roles on documentaries:

On Trial produced by Essential Media (in production);
Dick Smith’s Population Puzzle (2010 release) by Simon Nasht, Real Pictures and Mitra Films;
Recipe for Murder (2011 release) by Susan Lambert, Frank Haines, Jumping Dog Productions.
Diane produced programs for Sydney community radio 2SER 107.3FM as part of a regular Tuesday breakfast spot interviewing leading international environmentalists such as Dr David Suzuki, Prof Jared Diamond, Prof Stephen Schneider and Dr Vandana Shiva.
In 2006 she was the joint winner for Community Broadcasting Association of Australia’s short story competition for co-producing and presenting a series of 10 x 5 minute travel programs for radio entitled Anything to Declare.
She also has extensive corporate experience in marketing, sponsorship and community relations and worked for many years at leading cultural institutions in Australia and London in marketing and production roles. Diane has a Bachelor of Business and a Graduate Certificate in Management from QUT.
Diane studied voice over techniques and audio book narration in New York City with leading producers and directors in the industry including: Peter Rofé, Pat Fraley, Hillary Huber, Adria Firestone, and Susan Berkley with master class instruction from Barbara Rosenblat, Alan Sklar and director Paul Ruben in audio book narration. She has coached in Sydney with Bob Hughes.
